Codes

So that everyone knows what all the buttons do.

In most cases, highlighting the text and then selecting a button after clicking the "reply" button at the end of a thread will create the desired effect. The "quick reply" drop-down box at the bottom of a page does not have "quick-format" buttons. Codes can be entered manually using the codes provided.

To bold - like this[b]TEXT[/b]

To italicise - like this[i]TEXT[/i]

To underline - like this[u]TEXT[/u]

To strike through - like this[s]TEXT[/s]

To glow red - [glow=red,2,300]like this[/glow][glow=red,2,300]TEXT[/glow]

To shadow - [shadow=red,left,300]like this[/shadow][shadow=red,left,300]TEXT[/shadow] You can change the direction or the colour of the shadow by altering
code, such as[shadow=gray,right,300]TEXT[/shadow][shadow=gray,right,300]To get this[/shadow]

To make the text scroll to the left across the screen - like this[move]TEXT[/move]

To pre-format text (ie make it look a computery-type font) -

To align text left -

To alter font size - like this[size=2]TEXT[/size] The size can be altered by adjusting the digit within the code like this

To alter font face - like this[font=Verdana]TEXT[/font] The font face can be altered by adjusting the name of the font within the code

To alter the colour of the text - like this[color=Yellow]TEXT[/color] The colour of the text can be chosen using the drop-down menu on the
far right


To make text appear in a blockquote (ie an indented paragraph) -

To insert a link - like this[url=http://www.website_url_goes_here.com]TEXT WHICH IS SHOWN AS THE LINK GOES HERE[/url]

To insert a link to email someone - like this[email=[e-mail]]TEXT WHICH IS SHOWN AS THE LINK GOES HERE[/email]

To insert a table -

A [tr] [/tr] = column
A [td] [/td] = row
Be sure to begin with [table] and end with [/table]


To apply superscript - ^{like this}[sup]TEXT[/sup]

To apply subscript - _{like this}[sub]TEXT[/sub]

To make your text appear in "teletype" font - like this[tt]TEXT[/tt]

To add a code box, so that people can see the code you're applying, such as the box underneath[code]TEXT[/code]

To insert a quote box -

To insert a bullet-point list -

You may include more than three bullet points simply by adding in more [/li][li]s
