Somewhere to post if something fecks up at all, so that a Global Mod ( Ash) or Admin ( Graham) can get onto it. Feel free to delete if it's not needed, but I couldn't find another thread; rather ones that called for suggestions on improvements on the existing site, as opposed to any that deal with problems. Edit:
*General computer problems and virus info can be found/posted about here*

Sometimes I can click a page number for a thread on a board and it'll just take me to the first page, regardless of the number I clicked.

My profile is rather fecked. It won't display any avatar, website URL or YIM address. Any ideas?

Have you tried it from any computers other than yours?

But you know how often I change things, so I think it'd be far more useful if it were simply fixed, if it's fecked. You're welcome to fiddle about with it and see if you can get it to be obedient. I just find it odd that it's only certain parts that refuse to be altered...

Sometimes bugs can occur when an element of the protocol 'disagrees' with a host... have you tried different images that are hosted on different servers?

I've tried the default ones that can be selected on the dropdown menu (which simply appear as a red x when selected, but once I select the "modify" button, they don't show up), I've tried photobucket ones and I've tried random googled ones. None work. And when I go to change them (again) the boxes into which I'd just pasted the URL etc are empty.

OK. Well, you're not the only person with the avatar problem on ProBoards so I'd imagine they're aware of it and trying to fix it. Give it a bit of time... there's a few threads knocking about requesting help (on the main site) so I'll keep tabs on them and see if anything develops. I don't imagine its going to be a huge bug... I could probably fix it myself if I had access to the code, but alas I don't.
I'd just sit tight and wait for developments. Something will come along soon. Unless anyone knows a quickfix on here...?

Ah, I see it's working. Problem solved. OK, the new version has an error where by its not completley compatable with special characters yet (it's a common fault in programming I find... well, whenever I write mine anyway, but it's not particularly important, so things get released regardless) What I suggest is uploading the picture you want to use in your Avatar without any special characters (just keep it all normal text, like the MSN avatar you just used. Not even using _underscores_) Hope that helps.
