Just finished my double media exam, and I am not a happy bunny. I didn't need over 70% of the stuff that we'd concentrated on this year. Here was me revising Todorov, Barthes, Levi-Straus and Propp, along with media terminology as well as case studies of Run Lola Run, Die Another Day, Men Behaving Badly, Band Of Brothers, Eastenders and the whole BBH Levi's campaign since the 1980s to present day. What did I end up talking about? Osama Bin Laden, Jordan and the Beckhams... Seriously, there was no way I could have shown off my knowledge nor woven anything in, as they asked for only one case study to be mentioned. Well, that was the exam that I was supposed to breeze out of the way. Bye bye A. Now onto the hard ones... dear gawd. Anyone want to join me in Exam Whingage?

Ye won't! I just did my soc and psych exams today. Eurgh. I revised completely the wrong module for psych, so that's rather fecked, methinks, but perfect Qs came up in the soc one, so hopefully I'lldo ok in that...

I had my last exam yesterday morning. I think it went ok, although I didn't use enough solid evidence (sociologists and theories), just mostly common sense and general knowledge of the subject. So I think that'll limit my marks. The Q worth the most marks I found ok, actually, although at the end when my subject teacher rushed up to those in my class and said not to worry about that Q as it was synoptic and we weren't likely to have done very well on it due to it's nature really worried meh. The day before's exam (drama) was pants, however, and I didn't use anywhere near anough quotations or direct references to the scripts. I didn't really answer the questions directly, either, and completely forgot to add in practitioners. ie I'm screwed.
