Just what do they think us women are shaped like? Tanks? No wait, don't answer that... Seriously, even if the hips are ok the waists are huge, and the lengths of troiusers can be pretty limited too. We're not all above average for goodness' sake. Hmmmfpphhhrrrrgggmmm.

Do you ever find big inconsistencies with mens clothes though?

i have 2 pairs of jeans which are both supposedly size 34, which are at least an inch different. both have had to be altered though, cos i lost so much weight. and buying tshirts from catalogues can be hit and miss.. small, medium and large vary hugely between different companies. odd.

Gah, the lengths of trousers annoy the hell out of me - they're never quite long enough.
Also, underwear - that's where I've noticed the most inconsistancies. Especially bras. And M&S pants are huge - about two sizes bigger than they say they are (which is good if you're feeling like a blob, as ye can buy smaller ones, but otherwise it's just confuzzling)
*stops talking about pants now*

Now I find M&S is the only place where I can find bras I like normally in the right size. Can often mean travelling though.

Ahh, nope, I'm the opposite. Either M&S bra sizes are making up for the generosity in pants sizes, or else my boobs grow rapidly as soon as I walk through the door...

It would certainly save on the surgery fees.

Gah, you know what I meant. As in, in every other shop me boobs are a certain size, but as soon as M&S comes into it, they've suddenly shot up a few sizes... *shushes about the boobage*
