Now don't read any sexual connotations into that. All I'm referring to is that situation when you like somebody you work with/study with and want to either ask them out, or simply ask if they'll be hanging out at such and such place again, and you are not sure if pouncing on them as soon as the lesson/day is over is the best plan. Meh.
There's a young man on my course who seems nice, and quite cool and with a nice sense of humour but I don't see him socially much so it kinda means pouncing on him on-campus which I don't like. I was going to say something today after lesson, but I was feeling kinda hyper and didn't want to hang around and then leap on him as soon as he got out the door kinda thing. Appearing desperate is the last thing I want! I don't even know him that weel, but at the same time, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Blah.

i say pounce on him, if you do it correctly, you'll sever his spine, rendering him motionless, so he'll have to go out with you!

go for it girl you have nothing to lose- except maybe your dignity- but who cares about that there are only two answers he can give you -lets quote a carbonated softdrinks add- "what's the worst that can happen"

Doctor Pepper... so misunderstood...
No worries. I did it but he went weird, so hmmmm maybe one more try when he's talkative and/or sober, and then, I will move on to someone hopefully less scaredycattish.
