I haven't heard the other two yet I don't think - or not so's I remember. Metallica have influenced a lot of people though, so they probably carry alot of weight.

Metallica by far. i have tried Nightwish a fair amount, and i just find them bloody annoying. Snow Patrol are bearable, but they don't come close to the 'Tallica.

St Anger is good, but not the place to start with Metallica. i started with that, and found it a bit too... i dunno, difficult to get into and listen to all the way through. Kill 'Em All is good, one of their first releases, first full album if i remember right. and the Black album, although i still don't have that.

Really cannot stand Metallica, and I find Nightwish far too "flouncy/frilly". Thus Snow Patrol get my vote easily. Even more so for the title "Get the balsamic vinegar... quick you fool!" ;D

That is a cool title. I like musical acts with humour. Steve vai has quite a bit of stuff in that vein.
