We all know that celebrities, especially those that are "past it", have waning careers or are just generally talentless bints, tend to be major attention whores. But I'm urging you all to share some cringe-worthy celeb antics here. Antony (? - the bloke who won the most recent Big Brother... I always want to call him Mark, for some reason) was recently at RB's in Chester, as the "special celeb Guest". I didn't bother going, but some housemates did (albeit to try to bottle him) and reported back that he was getting girls to try to compete for a prize. He picked a dozen or so blonde, fake tan/hair/nails types to come up on stage, cavort, writhe and generally lap dance for him, all for a prize of... wait for it... two whole minutes with him alone in the staffroom. Whoop-de-fecking-doop. Apparently one of the "lovelies" went up to him and told him he was sad. I know; huge ego blow, there... The bitter ones (ie those whose breasts weren't large enough for Antony to pick them) were later heard to be accusing Antony of being gay as the antics of the girls weren't, err, "exciting" enough for him, it seems. Also, The Bravery are threatening offering to play live for one uni only, and this veritable prize is to be given to the uni who has the most students sign up to some mobile phone company promo thing. Whenever I last checked, the uni in the lead had about 10 sign-ups... Well done, The Bravery... (Yes, I'm bored and feel the need to rant about media losers. Care to join me?)

id ask who the bravery are, but im guessing thats the point
this isnt a personally observed one (thankfully), but id go with jade goody (not literally). how this completely moron, whos so far at the bottom of the z list shes practicaly in australia, keeps getting so much media attention is beyond me. she was on jonathon ross' show the other night, for who knows what, shes still in the papers every so often, and some stupid tv execs think that wed actually want to see her try (and most probably fail) to run a salon.
also she thinks that bird flu will give us all wings... if theres a more pointless person in existance id be very surprised

I can't get past the tv presenters with bad dye jobs and massive egos, let alone the z listers. I can rarely bring myself to watch tv at all these days except to catch the odd film.

id ask who the bravery are, but im guessing thats the point The Bravery are a rubbishy Killers copy act. I think they've released a couple of singles now, and are in the charts, so I'm surprised you haven't heard them. "Pretentious tw*ts" is the term that mostly comes to mind once you see them. Hence why I find it funny that they're getting unis to compete to see them live...

The fact that they're copying The Killers pretty much underlines how bad they are, seeing as The Killers are hardly Cilla Black themselves.

*offtopic* Unconditional is alright track.. Only because they lay off their dodgy vocals for the first 38 seconds. Adam, you're lucky: must have missed their aural assault on their airwaves, then, cos they've been bloody everywhere since they decided to release their brand of blandness.
