I remember Gordon the Gopher with Phillip Schofield, and then later Live and Kicking with... Sarah Greene? And Andy Peters? Then a later one with Zoe Ball and someone... I remember her doing a "Jim'll Fix It" (which I also remember, by the way ) type slot and it had Gabrielle's dreams playing as the tag music. Oh, and Ed the Duck! With Andy Peters in the Broom cupboard. Then weren't there a few different Simons who did that, too? I remember there being at least a ginger one and a blonde one (as a child, blonde Simon's hair reminded me of MilkyBar Buttons... ) I remember WWF and Hulk Hogan cartoons. There was also a Dungeons and Dragons cartoon that I loved. And My Little Ponies and MoonDreamers *has a video of that somewheres* Teenaged Mutant Hero/Ninja Turtles (I forget which was the "British" and which the "American" way of phrasing it...) There was also a programme where there were "real" (as it were" kids, but there were also puppets and cartoon parts, too. The thing that'll probably jog anyone's memory about it was that there was a magical doll in it, which people were always carrying around, but it had no facial features: just a peach face with indents but no eyes/mouth/etc... And their backpacks talked, too, but looked like they were made of scraps. Also, in every episode there'd be a countdown before a cartoon rocket took off... Anyone remember this, or am I going mad?

I remember watching going live/live and kicking, with all those presenters you mentioned. i still have a gordon the gopher puppet somewhere. zoe ball hosted it with jamie theakston. dont really remember a jimll fix it type slot, or anything else that was on it for that matter i kinda remember hulk hogan in a cartoon, but not all the wwf. seen far too much dungeons and dragons to ever want to again. twas hero turtles over here orginally, cos ninja was deemed a bad word the new ones now are ninja tho agian, no idea about that other one, are you sure youre not making these up? the going mad isnt even a question tho

i seem to remember a Cloud 9 thing on Live and Kicking with Zoe Ball, and they did the computer games which at the time was the best thing i'd ever seen. i still have videos of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. all sorts of things are coming back to me. all the Playdays characters: Why Bird, Peggy Patch, that cat thing whose name i forget. i like the cats house episodes best, as the house was very cool. the Playbus were kind of a drag, cept the part with the clues leading to Peggy's den. got me interested in making dens which kept me and my mates occupied from the ages of 4 to like 11.. Rosie and Jim on their canal boat. the legend that is Thomas The Tank Engine, with Ringo Starr doing the narration/voices. i don't know if he still does it. Gordon always scared me, and Percy was kind of annoying. Thomas never grew on me, and my favourite was Duck cos he was a square shaped tank when all the other trains (bar Diesel, because he didn't count as he was diesel powered) had cylindrical (sp?) ones. i have no idea what everyone else is on about, i think i may have just been too young to remember.

I remember a really lame (I thought) Saturday morning show that was filling in for Going Live, called Hangar 17. I was recently reminded of this when listening to Megadeth's Hangar 18. This show, interestingly was presented by a long haired rocker type man possibly (he definitely had long hair) which did not impress me at the time. I'm seriously hoping Marty Friedman didn't go into children's television at that time, because it would have been a couple of years maybe after the success of their Rust in Peace album. Please no... that show sucked. Please let it be some unknown plonker.... I'm pretty sure the bloke was British so it should be ok. Also does anyone remember John "Yoooooooooooooo" Barrowman? He said "yo" a lot and quite loudly but he was cool. American chappie.

Hangar 17 - the presenter was called Mickey, cos I remember the numerous "taking the Mickey" jokes they used to shoe-horn in!
And Ash, the cat was called Poppy, and she p*ssed me right off, with her whinging. The bitch.

I'm glad someone else remembers... and better than me too, cos I think it only ran for one season.

presented by a long haired rocker type man possibly (he definitely had long hair) Mickey Hutton. I loved Ghost Train as a kid. Nobby the sheep was cool and it always showed Scooby-Doo. I remember being quite fond of Potsworth & Co. as well.
