It's sad. I'm not surprised though because he was looking frail in his last tv appearances. I think it's nice that he lived to recieve his Bafta Lifetime Achievement honour. That was good.

It's a massive loss to TV. I think he was the only person that, whatever he appeared in, he seemed to improve it, and raie the bar just that notch.
He'sll be misses by millions. RIP, and thankyou.

Aww I really loved Ronnie Barker. I grew up watching The Two Ronnies, Open All Hours and Porridge (although admittedly they were reruns). I'm glad he's been so well recognised as a man truly possessing such great talent; I'm only regretful that I'm unable to watch his tribute shows. Ronnie Barker was truly a dude of the highest calibre.

I was sent a forward today, and it seemed fitting to post it here, as I'm sure I remember seeing a re-run of it at some point, and it made me giggle and appreciate this man all over again.
"In Memory of a very funny man
This was originally shown on on BBC TV back in the seventies. Ronnie Barker could say all this without a snigger (though god knows how many takes). Irony is that they received not one complaint.
