From BBCVal Kilmer's made his debut in London's West End playing a drifter in 'The Postman Always Rings Twice'. It's very raunchy and he gets down and dirty with another man's wife. We spoke to him at the aftershow party and asked why so many American stars are coming over to the British stage: "Well it certainly isn't the exchange rate. You give 'em 500 dollars and they say 'What? *****!'." "I think it's because the directors are so great, the actors are so great and it's a wonderful tradition." "I wanted some coddling - no, I had to make my own tea and everything." This guy was my idol when I was growing up, and quite a role model. I gained an increased love of the movies after I saw his powerful performance in Tombstone. Talented guy... unfortunately he acts in a lot of celluloid turkeys.
