On a different note, this appalled me: MOREThis story was from last September. Is there really any need to attack somebody for putting forward an opionion that challenges the establishment? The way I see it, the British are often told we're repressed, and stuff, but it seems we are still freer to challenge commonly held views than in the 'wonderland' America. The BBC showed a televised version of Jerry Springer the Opera, and certain groups of people were against it. One argument against it was swearing. People swear all the time, even in front of children, so I don't see how screening this, after the watershed i might add is going to do any harm. It's not like they're performing it on a street corner in front of everyone. From what I saw of the first Act I found it thoroughly entertaining and the dialogue was rather sharp and amusing. The second argument was religious references. Don't people internalise religious figures in their own unique way anyway? Should there be a reason why we can't share these things? Maybe this would make a good debate? I think I'll start a thread for this there, and then come back and put the link here. Saw it... I didn't expect to be still engaged after 2 1/2 hours but somehow I didn't get bored. It must have been well paced.

Does anyone remember 'Michael Moore's TV Nation'? That was entertaining, AND, Louis Theroux was in it.

nah, i've read about it i think. never saw it.
i only became aware of him when he did Bowling For Columbine which, incidently, is also a very good film.
