i'm gonna watch Going To Extremes: The Silk Routes cos it was good last week.. I saw a bit of that... I couldn't understand why they wouldn't move a bit lower in altitude... but then I don't live in Tibet so I don't have an attachment to desolate places... not geographical ones anyway!

I'm currently watching people beat the sh*t out of eachother (aka "The Contender").
I've never understood why such mindless-violence -and-voluntary-brain-damage has been so popular, nor why reality tv and the endorsement of an actor could glamourise it so. But apparently the masses cannot get enough of it... meh.

I never said it wasn't (although that's not to say that's what I was thinking ), I was just commenting how I didn't understand it's appeal. Similar to how I don't understand the appeal of snooker, golf, veal, brand names, kitten heels nor that of Halle Berry. I'm not criticising any of the aforementioned, however.

people fighting, thats the appeal right there. and they're world class fighters too, fighting each week. which in america don't happen much what with PPV and stuff...
and its good to see how they train and things, and how dedicated they are to their chosen sport.
