"Anatomy for beginners" The blurb be: " Anatomist Gunther von Hagens and pathologist John Lee begin a series of anatomy classes, including a human dissection filmed before an invited audience. This first programme investigates movement. Dr von Hagens dissects a man he knew, removing the skin in a single piece to enable a demonstration of muscle movement. Then the skull is opened and the spinal cord and sciatic nerve removed in a single piece." - from the Radio Times...nice... *feels ill* i watched that...pretty graphic, but quite educational...

watched Ricky Gervais: Animals earlier was great. funniest. thing. ever.
also last night i saw something about Alex Zanardi. a racing driver who literally lost both his legs in a CART crash in Germany a couple of years ago. got t-boned by a car doing 196mph. and it tore his car in half. unfortunately, tore him in half too. from just above the knee there was nothing left. and he was conscious for 15 minutes after. anyway, he's back racing in ETC in a specially adapted BMW. that man has courage.

i thought it was good, except the last 15-20 minutes, which was a let down. The twist is good though. Oh My Wow... I'm not really sure whether it's a resounding "ooooh" for the twist (which I never would have got, by the way) and the ending (which I kinda guessed - I'm trying to make sense without giving things away here... ), or whether I feel let down. I would have liked to see the other version of the film, though. Before he *doesn't attempt to spell the director's name... * decided to change the genre of the film completely, 3/4 of the way through. Verrry good film, though. Before you find out the twist is amazing. And it made me almost cry (I don't cry at movies. Ever. So... yesh). And I actually didn't feel like kicking Joaquin Phoenix in the b*ll*cks throughout, which is a first, bar "Signs" (which "The Village" was quite similar to, in some respects, I thought...). And yum, park ranger/perimeter personage...
