I never took much notice of these things before as I seldom read a paper, but in my job they have free papers for us in the breakroom and I often have a read in my lunch hour.
One thing I have noticed is that some people come out with some absurd statements and downright daft opinions in papers such as The Guardian, that utterly urinate on happy ordinary people. Then there's the sensationalist papers such as The Sun which are vulgar, but unadulterated w*** as opposed to pretensious w*** I suppose. It kind of reminds me of my days as a film student when we'd watch these arty films that were supposed to have such exciting vision, but to a faction of us... we just thought it was pretensious w***.
What have you seen that makes you feel "eugh they get paid to write/film this stuff? Whaaaaaaaa?"

I totally agree with you - some of the "high brow" papers such as the Mail, Telegraph etc is nothing more than pretentious b*ll*cks - they seem to think that they are above every othr member of society because mummy and daddy probably paid for their education at Eton. tossers.
The last film i saw that made me feel like that was conveniently in my Film Studies course - a french film called "Alphaville". i've never seen anything so remarkably sh*te in my life.
