tThis really intrigued me, actually. I've seen pics of the 18m long one as well, and that's just weird. I find it fascinating that such creatures can be living in our oceans, and yet remain shrouded by a cloud of mystery. For some reason I would have thought that the depth of knowledge of giant squids would be on a par with that of whales and such, but obviously not. Hmm, just found it interesting is all. What thinkest you?

That's quite impressive! I've always had a bit of the sea in me..which sounds odd , but i used to go out in my Grandad's boat whenever i staying with them in Cornwall...ah, memories. I don't think i'd have liked to have been the fisherman to catch that though
