Do you talk in real life how you talk on here/the rest of te net? I know I do, which some people may think is a bit strange... I especially do a lot of "p*sstake txtlk", "p*sstake chavtalk" and other p*sstake "netspeak" etc. Such as going "dat iz da bestestestest EVAR!" and "U R TEH SUXX0RS" etc. Although not all the time, just before you start to think I'm a massively annoying bint.
I also say "ye" rather than "you", but when I do it it's not pronounced "yee", it's a definite "ye" - a non-chavvy "ya", as I like to think of it... I haven't nicked this one from anywhere, however, it's just how I seem to have grown to talk. The same applies to my now-frequent usage of "missy" and "mister" to refer to people with, rather than the repetitive "dear" of a year ago. Although the latter does still get used, just to a lesser extent.
"Pooter" (instead of "computer") I think I yoinked from someone on LJ, and the adding of "-ness", "-ful" and "-age" onto the ends of words is something I seem to have lifted from VR.
"Grifted" and "mither" are from Phil, and "bint" and "lesbian" are due to Graham's influence. Listening to JOJ has left me using "c*nt" and "f*ck" far more frequently than I would have done without their influence. And I've no idea where I seem to have picked the "gay"/"bumming" fixation from (as in, insinuating that sort of behaviour is present in friends' lifestyles, in a non-serious way, rather than them being my life choices, before ye start getting confused there).
So, what's influenced you use of internet and/or real life language? Do you talk the same in typing as you do in speech? And have you noticed that others have started to pick up your characteristics - I've found that a lot of the people on VR now seem to be using "ye" and the "missy/mister" thing now I'm no longer there, but who's to say, eh?
