This one may require some digging... "when our hands touch, underwater, I'm as sharp as broken glass" It reminds me of that advert with that song that goes "underwater love". Care to give us a further clue... pwetty pwease?

They had an album out called "the cat and the cobra" and a DVD entitled "inches". (I'd forgotten about this, actually. Sorreh. And it may be worth locating a lyric site or some such *makes note to pick better-known lyrics in the future* )

Interestingly this was one thing that came up in a search: Icarus Line Feed Your Cat To Your Cobra . Not the right band, but interesting that they should mix cats and cobras too. Hey i've just remembered - I saw The Icarus Line live a year a go... they opened for Primal Scream at Southampton Guildhall. Happy memories...

Ah yeah, The Icarus Line do rock. Love "In lieu". But ye right, wrong band I'm afraid, missy. www.songmeanings.net have the band and song on, I know that for sure. Their lyric search gets a bit fecked sometimes though.

Sorreh. Ye want more clues - more lines/band name/song title, as more of a clue? Or simply just give up?

Correct, Kim! And they're in between: They're not a local thing, but they aren't that well known.

Nope. It shares its name with that of a well-known song from yonks ago. The title is French, and the latter was one of those songs that a lot of couples remember getting "amorous" to...
